The wash service does the bath part of a full groom without the clip work, which keeps it shorter and cheaper.
Every wash uses Melanie Newman Salon Essentials, an Australian-made professional range that cleans without stripping the natural oils that keep coats healthy and shiny. Sensitive-skin shampoos are available if your dog has allergies or itchy patches.

At a comfortable temperature and noise level. The dryer we use is quieter than industrial salon dryers, which matters for nervous dogs.

A wash plus deshed combines the warm bath with proper undercoat removal and drying techniques that protect the topcoat. It's the right move for double-coated breeds (Labs, Goldens, Huskies, Border Collies) once or twice a year, and for most other dogs heading into shed season. Available on both short and long coat versions, makes a noticeable dent in the hair around your house.

How long does a dog wash take?
30 to 60 minutes typically, depending on coat type, size and condition. Long or thick coats take longer to wash and dry properly than short coats. We'd rather take an extra ten minutes than rush a dry.
What products do you use?
Melanie Newman Salon Essentials as our default, an Australian-made professional range. Gentle, dog-safe formulas. We choose the right shampoo and conditioner for your dog's coat and skin type. Sensitive-skin alternatives available on request.
What's the difference between a wash and a groom?
A wash is bath, blow dry and brush-out. A groom adds clipping or scissoring, ear cleaning, nail trim and hygiene tidies around the face and rear. If your dog's coat is in good shape and just needs freshening up, a wash is what you want. If they're due for a haircut, book a groom.
Can I add a deshed treatment?
Yes. Pick the wash + deshed option for either short or long coat at booking. It's the same wash with extra undercoat work and a longer drying technique that pulls more loose hair out. Worth it for double-coated breeds.
