Why half-day packages work

Half days suit a lot of dogs better than a full day. Senior dogs who tire after a few hours of play. Puppies still building stamina. Anxious dogs easing into daycare gradually. And owners who finish work earlier or want to pair a daycare session with a wash or groom at pickup.

If your dog comes in once a week or more, paying single-session rates every visit stops making sense quickly. Packages knock the per-session rate down and remove the friction of paying every time.

How redemption works

Buy the package online and you'll get a personal booking link. Each pass covers one half-day session, capped at 5 hours. Use them when they suit you across the validity window, no fixed days, no weekly commitment.

Full-day visits aren't covered by half-day passes. If your dog needs a longer day occasionally, book a single full day separately or grab a full-day package instead. Add-ons like wash or groom at pickup are charged separately at the time of the visit.

What a half-day session looks like

Same setup as our single half-day daycare. Small group sizes, dogs matched on temperament rather than just size, supervised play with proper rest blocks, and indoor and outdoor zones depending on weather. A typical session fits in a structured play round, a nap, some enrichment, and one-on-one time if a dog needs a reset, all inside the 5-hour window.

If your dog hasn't done daycare with us before, the first visit is an assessment. We watch how they settle, how they play, and which group they fit best with. After that, they slot in.

Things worth knowing before you buy

  • Each session is capped at 5 hours. Drop-off and pickup are booked around that window. Need longer? Look at our full-day packages.
  • Validity is per package. 30 days for the 5-session, 50 for the 10, 75 for the 15, and 100 for the 20-session pass.
  • Daycare sessions are Tuesday to Saturday. We're closed Sundays and Mondays. Plan your bookings around that.
  • Vaccinations are required. First visit, we'll need a copy of current vaccination records, including kennel cough.
  • Packages are non-refundable. Activated on purchase, tied to one dog, and don't roll over after the validity window.
  • Add-ons aren't included. Wash, groom or nail trim at pickup are charged separately at the time of the visit.

Where we are

Our studio is at 1/22 Mountain View Ave, Miami QLD 4220, a few minutes from Burleigh Heads, Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters, Nobby Beach, Palm Beach, Robina, Broadbeach, Varsity Lakes, Reedy Creek, Clear Island Waters, Elanora, Currumbin and Tugun. Parking is easy and drop-off takes a couple of minutes.
