How Pets Juicy Started
Trent and James opened Pets Juicy in August 2024 with one goal: build the dog studio they wished existed.
A studio where every dog gets unhurried attention. Where nervous pups are not rushed through. Where the team actually reads body language instead of forcing a dog onto the table. Where coats are cared for properly, not just clipped quickly.
We are based in Miami on the Gold Coast, just a few minutes from Burleigh Heads. Same team, every visit. Same calm approach, every dog.
How We Do Things Differently
Calm, unhurried sessions
We work at the dog's pace, not a clock. Most full grooms run two to three hours so we can build trust and avoid the rush that makes dogs anxious.
Breed-specific knowledge
Cavoodle teddy clip, Schnauzer wire-coat tidy, Staffy deshed, Maltese tear-stain care. Coat type, breed standard and your dog's lifestyle all factor into the groom.
Vegan, cruelty-free products
We use only Melanie Newman Salon Essentials. Vegan and cruelty-free shampoos and conditioners that nourish the coat and support skin health.
Small studio feel
Boutique studio, not a high-volume salon. Every dog gets individual attention from a team that remembers names, quirks and coat history.
Meet the Team
Shane runs the floor day to day along with our team of experienced groomers. We are dog people first, professionals second.
Most days you will find Shane somewhere between the wash bay and the grooming table, working through the day's bookings with the calm focus dogs respond best to.
If your dog is anxious, has tricky coat issues, or just needs extra time, tell us at booking. We plan the day around what each dog needs.

Dog Grooming
Full salon grooms, breed clips, hygiene cuts and tidy trims. From short-coat baths and deshedding to long-coat scissor work, every groom is tailored to coat type and lifestyle.

Warm baths, blow dries and brush-outs using vegan Melanie Newman products. Quick freshen-ups between full grooms, or a clean-up after the beach.

Structured play, enrichment and proper rest in a calm, supervised space. Ideal for busy workdays, beach-day recovery or building social confidence. Half day, full day or daycare packages.
