Puppy Introduction Groom

Our Puppy Introduction Groom is designed with your pup’s comfort and well-being in mind. This gentle, confidence-building session includes:

• A tidy hygiene cut to keep them fresh
• Soft brushing to introduce them to the feel of a groomer’s hands
• Careful face trim, leg and paw trim, and nail cut for those little touches of care

We work entirely at your dog’s pace. Whether it’s their first time or they’re still getting used to the process, we focus on creating a positive, stress-free experience. Our groomers will only do what your puppy allows us to do, letting them become familiar with the sights, sounds, and sensations of the salon.

We’ll also desensitise them to the clippers and blow dryer—simply having them turned on nearby—so they can build confidence and learn that these tools are not scary.

We recommend booking your puppy’s first grooming session after their second round of vaccinations, typically around 12–16 weeks of age. Starting early helps your pup adapt more easily to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming. The younger they are, the more receptive they’ll be—making it easier to build positive associations that last a lifetime. Bringing them in every 2-4 weeks to help them feel more at home and ready for a full groom when they’re comfortable.

This isn’t just a tidy-up—it’s a positive first step in your dog’s grooming journey.
